Volunteer Work

- Spend over 100 hours working alongside lab technicians to receive and sort various lab specimens.

- Acquire knowledge about the purpose and utility of differing diagnostic tests.

- Observe how numerous departments including microbiology, hematology, urology, and immunology collaborate to assess samples and provide accurate results. 

- Spend over 20 hours to date escorting patients and families throughout various departments in the general surgery unit.

- Facilitate patient and family experiences in the hospital.

- Devote over 30 hours to date organizing and presenting Safe Sleep Workshops to young families at local hospitals and clinics. 

- Participate in Safe Sleep training sessions hosted by Cribs for Kids. 

- Participate in donation drives and "MACH nights" during which wellness products kits are created for young mothers and children.

- Represent Delta Delta Delta in fundraising over $600 for Operation 300, an organization that aids the families of fallen soldiers. 

- Learn how to organize a fundraising group and rally support within the Panhellenic community.

- Devote over 100 hours to date supervising weekly blood pressure, EKG, vision, and range-of-motion screenings provided for disadvantaged individuals in the Orlando Community. 

- Connect homeless individuals in need of medical assistance to local low-cost clinics
and health resources.  

- Instruct organization members about proper screening protocols.

- Spend over 100 hours to date preparing, processing, and packaging donated breast milk for distribution to hospitals and pharmacies across Florida.  

- Acquire knowledge about laboratory and food safety practices.

- Gain insight into why breast milk donation is necessary and how the breast milk donation process operates.

- Serve on Delta Delta Delta's Philanthropy Committee to organize and carry out fundraising events benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

- Represent Delta Delta Delta within the Panhellenic community to raise money and participate in the fundraiser-end dance competitions for Prevent Child Abuse America and Breast Cancer Awareness.
